Helping our industry colleagues in need for over 40 years

The Market Research Benevolent Association (MRBA) is an independent UK charity providing financial support to individuals who work, or have worked, in the market research industry.

The MRBA assists those facing financial hardship due to illness, bereavement, personal difficulties, or imminent financial distress. Established in 1977, over the past 48 years it has supported over 1,000 individuals, distributing more than £1 million in aid, either through grants or interest-free loans.

Make a donation

Totally independent, the MRBA does not receive any government assistance. We rely on the donations, legacies and financial support from individuals and organisations across the UK market and social research industry to continue our work.  Your financial support is an ideal way to give something back to our industry and help colleagues in need at the same time.

Every case we handle is treated individually and with great sensitivity. Sometimes people just need someone to talk to, so we offer support and advice and may even refer them to another support agency. In other situations, we may award a grant which does not need to be repaid or provide an interest-free loan with realistic repayment terms.

What your donation means

I would like to thank you for all your help during my wife’s illness. I don’t know how we would have managed without it.

After the accident I couldn’t work for a long time. With bills piling up , I was getting desperate. MRBA paid one of my larger bills which made a big difference.
