MRBA exists to provide financial support and advice to individual colleagues experiencing real hardship, who work or have worked in any aspect of market research, and who are based in the UK. We offer support with respect, sensitivity and in confidence. We do not receive any government assistance, so MRBA totally relies on the generous donations and support from individuals and organisations across our industry.
As the Coronavirus is affecting our industry, MRBA is here to help. But we need to prioritise our limited resources continuing to help those people who have worked at least two years in UK MR and are experiencing severe financial hardship. This includes colleagues in danger of being evicted, or who can’t pay essential utility bills/council tax, or who can’t afford to buy food, or who may be experiencing other extenuating circumstances. Unfortunately, we cannot top up lost earnings, so advise colleagues to check the government website here .
For other help available during Covid-19, please see the attached Coronavirus support document.
We are receiving a very high volume of calls at the moment which are being handled by our volunteers. So if you need this kind of help, please email enquiries@mrba.org.uk rather than use our helpline. You should include brief details of your situation, as well as provide an address and a phone number and we will get back to you. Click here for more information.
Check out MRBA Skills, a new bursary scheme to help younger researchers and those new to our industry take the MRS’ Advanced Certificate in Market and Social Research qualification, but who might struggle with the cost of the fees. See our short video below, find out more in our MRBA Skills section , or download a copy of our MRBA Skills Info Sheet April 2019 Rev pdf
