The Network’s Christmas Drinks and Annual Meeting will take place, as usual, at 16:30 on Tuesday 8th December at the offices of TNS, No. 6 More London Place, SE1 2QY.  If any non-members are interested in coming along as a guest, there will be a nominal charge of £5 refundable against the membership fee of £25 if you join.  If you would like to attend, or just like to join, please contact our Secretary Gill Wareing.

The Autumn Party was held at Azzurro on the South Bank.  Seventy members attended and some stayed into the evening.  Adam Phillips summarised the results of the recent membership survey which was kindly sponsored by Cobalt Sky.  The majority of Network members live in London and the South East (4 in 5), two thirds are retired and a third is female.  Almost half joined the Network in the last 5 years.  More information about the survey and the photographs of the event are available on the Network’s website.

The Research Network Summer Party was held in July at Doggett’s Coat and Badge on the south bank of the Thames by Blackfriars Bridge.  It was a warm and pleasant day and the sun shone and the terrace at the top was crowded with members enjoying the view of The City on the other side of the Thames.
