The MRBA is very sad to learn of the passing of Bryan Bates, aged 93.  

Bryan was one of the MRBA Founding Patron with Gerald Goodhart and Jennifer Bowen in 1977.  They established the MRBA charity in response to an appeal to help the families of two Market Research Society (MRS) members who had died suddenly.

Bryan was also former Chairman of the MRS and Director General of ESOMAR.

His funeral is being planned to take place in Thatcham, Newbury, towards the end of January. It is likely that it will be live-streamed.  Details to follow
