The MRBA Virtual Quiz Night took place on Thursday, 27th January and saw a group of individuals, ranging from volunteers to market researchers, battle their way to the top spot from the comfort of their own homes! All to raise money for the MRBA and help support those in our industry.
The brilliant Stewart Tippler, European Representative at Quirk’s, and Founder & Director at AST Media, was our fantastic quiz master and entertained attendees from start to finish with his personally designed quiz! There were a whopping one hundred questions with topics ranging from sport, film, market research and even the MRBA. Stewart certainly put our quizzers’ general knowledge to the test!
Throughout the night, the leader board constantly changed, with different people landing in the coveted top five positions after each question, which made for some seriously exciting and unpredictable quizzing! As the night progressed, the final question saw Keen as Mustard’s Iosetta Santini and Ipsos MORI’s Joey Kielty battle it out for the first-place position. Iosetta ended up holding her nerve and narrowly beat Joey for first place on a tea-themed final question and won a ticket to the Quirk’s London event later this year.
Justin Alderson from Aurora Market Research rounded out the top three and kindly donated his £50 winnings back to the MRBA. We also made sure that Joey didn’t go home empty-handed and awarded him with a £75 Amazon gift voucher donated by Quirk’s.
In total, and most importantly, we fundraised a fantastic £250 for the MRBA and enjoyed a fun night with fabulous people. We hope to see you at the next pub quiz!
