The final numbers from MRBA Week 2017 have been tabulated and the total amount generated from all of your baking, quizzing, running, scavenging, etc. was £7,400. Thank you one and all. This is a huge amount and we are very grateful. This brings the total amount of money raised in our
40th Anniversary year in 2017 to just over £24,000.
MRBA Committee Member Linda Henshall writes: “MRBA was at the Insight Show (thanks to Research Club and Insight Show for giving us the space) and were very pleased to receive an MRBAWeek cheque for £1,830.60 from Claire and Ruth Partington at RP Translate pictured above – which was a fantastic amount. Also, we were at Impact 2018 (thanks to MRS for allowing us space to spread the word) and to promote our 2018 Auction. Many thanks to Debbie Whittick, Mike Wooderson and Ginny Monk for coming along to help.
“The auction ran from 23 February – 15 March and was a great success. It raised circa £8,000. We are very grateful to all the donors and the people who participated in the Auction, with a special thanks to ESOMAR for donating a second congress ticket. We’d also like to thank the ICG for generously donating £550.27 from the Quiz Night which they held on February 15.
