Amongst other organisations, the MRBA works closely with the Research Network which is a lively community of past and present research professionals.

As we all know, working relationships often turn into lifelong friendships but it can sometimes be difficult to find opportunities to stay in touch.   The Research Network was created to help Researchers link up again with old friends and colleagues.

The Research Network organises:

  • Quarterly lunches at central London restaurants to facilitate social and professional communication for its members. These lunches are subsidised to keep the costs of meeting up reasonable.

  • Zoom evening meetings on topics of general interest, providing further opportunities to stay connected.

  • A newsletter is published twice a year containing news of members, reflections on issues of interest, reports and photos from recent events, and articles written by members themselves.

  • The Research Network’s website also keep members up to date with information on forthcoming events and recent news items. See: https://www.research-network.org.uk/

If you are looking to stay connected with your friends and colleagues why not join the Research Network.   Annual membership is just £25 and will give you excellent networking opportunities including access to the lunches and evening Zoom meetings.
